Planning and Development

Community Resources

As Calgary and Tuscany continue to evolve, the planning role of the TCA aims to provide information to the community on planning matters and support residents and the community in engaging with the planning process. The TCA performs an advisory role and provides comments to the City of Calgary where appropriate.

The TCA does not have any authority in any planning matters or decisions made by the City of Calgary or the school boards that manage our local schools.

The Local Area Plan related to Tuscany is the Revised West Scenic Acres Area Structure Plan. (Download Link from the City of Calgary)

The City of Calgary Development Map (DMAP) is tool that the City of Calgary uses to communicate and accept comments on new land use and development applications. If you receive a letter notice or see a sign board on a property, use DMAP to find out more information and submit comments.

On loading the map shows all recent applications including those open and closed for comment. Use filter and search icons to narrow down to what you are looking for. To learn how to use the tool use the City of Calgary Guide for using DMAP.
